Di Giannantonio and Morbidelli ready to start the 2025 season in Thailand

The Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team will be on track with Fabio Di Giannantonio, who is back after his collarbone injury, and Franco Morbidelli for the first race of the 2025 campaign in Buriram.

This weekend marks the opening of the 2025 season, and the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team is eager to hit the track with its full line-up. Fabio Di Giannantonio is back after his injury in Sepang test, which forced him to undergo surgery on his left collarbone, while Franco Morbidelli completed all the pre-season test with positive results.

Buriram is a peculiar track for Fabio: last year he raced for the last time in 2024 season to undergo surgery on his shoulder, and on the Chang International Circuit he will come back for the first race of 2025 campaign. On Thursday, Di Giannantonio will undergo a medical check-up at the circuit to receive the fit to race.

Morbidelli, on the other hand, is looking to carry the positive momentum from the pre-season tests into the race weekend, aiming to confirm his positive feelings with both the bike and the team.

The Grand Prix of Thailand starts on Friday with the first free practice, while the qualifying will be on Saturday morning (10:50 am local time, +7UTC), and the Sprint Race in the afternoon (3 pm). The weekend will end with the Sunday race (3 pm).
