Bezzecchi and Di Giannantonio in the Top10 at Motegi

The riders of the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team close the weekend with another solid placing, respectively in P7 and P8

Motegi (Japan), October 6th 2024 - Marco Bezzecchi and Fabio Di Giannantonio are the protagonists of a good comeback at the Japanese GP that took place at the Mobility Resort in Motegi. The riders of the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team crossed the finishing line respectively in 7th and 8th place.

Starting from the P8 and stuck in traffic on the first lap, Marco is relegated to the P12. Capable of an excellent pace throughout the race, he climbs the standings until arriving in the slipstream of the P6. With today's points he is ninth in the overall standings with 134 points.

134 points also for Fabio (tenth in the overall standings), also starting from the third row in P7. After a first laps in a battle - with a comeback from P14 - and an excellent final he closed the gap on the group in front of him.

A good race, a little better than yesterday even though I got stuck in traffic at the start. The start was good, then I was touched by Alex (Marquez) and had to recover. In the first 6/7 laps I overtook the Aprilia and then Jack (Miller), not for the top positions, but it was fun. I had good feelings in the overtaking and, in the final, I got closer to Franco and Brad (Morbidelli and Binder) and I also Fabio (Di Giannantonio) was in my slipstream. Overall, a solid weekend.

Fabio Di Giannantonio - 49

I had a really good pace, I could have fought for the Top5, I'm a bit sorry about that, but the start was a jungle. In the battle I lost a lot of positions, then I recovered. I definitely put on a good show even if the final result, in terms of positions, is not fantastic. I'm satisfied, it's the first weekend in which I felt good on the bike. I am back to riding smooth and being fast. We are going home, we have a medical check on Wednesday to get another opinion on the current condition of the left shoulder.
