At their home GP, the riders of the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team close the Friday's free practices among the protagonists respectively in P5 and P9

Lombok (Indonesia), September 27th 2024 - Excellent start, with the support of all the local fans, at the Indonesian GP for the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team which will be held on Sunday in Mandalika (03.00 pm local time). Riding the Ducati Desmosedici GP, Marco Bezzecchi and Fabio Di Giannantonio impress from the morning session and qualify directly for tomorrow's Q2 (11.15 am).

140 thousandths of a gap from the leader of the day (Bastianini, 1'29.630) for Marco who set a time of 1'29.770, a lap that means the Top5. Excellent sensations while riding and a feeling that is always increasing.

Good step forward between the sessions and positive balance also for Fabio who, despite a small crash at the end of the session, signs a good 1'29.986 and hits the P9 with a delay of three tenths. See you tomorrow with the first points at disposal in the Sprint (03.00 pm local time).

Marco Bezzecchi - 72

I'm very happy, they really did a great job with the track. Compared to the last year it was much more clean, without dust and without rubber but this is normal. I managed to be fast straight from the start and above all I managed to try all the compounds available both on the front and rear. The target is always the direct access to the Q2 and for tomorrow I feel good. We are really close and I would be very happy to get a good result in front of the Indonesian fans who are supporting us very warmly.

Fabio Di Giannantonio - 49

I am very happy to have made it to the Q2, also because for the first time since the crash in Austria, I feel really limited on the bike between pain and no strength. This was the minimum goal and I am very satisfied. Unfortunately, my physical condition is not at 100%, I have not been able to full train in these last weeks. In any case, we will not give up, the atmosphere here in Mandalika is special.
