A charity Barcelona hosts the last race of the 2024 season. Marco Bezzecchi will race for the last time with the Tavullia Team after 5 seasons and 93 appearances. Michele Pirro will riding Fabio Di Giannantonio's Ducati Desmosedici GP for the race weekend and the testing session

Barcelona (Spain), November 11th 2024 – It will be a truly emotional last GP of 2024 for the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team. On the one hand, a supportive Barcelona that welcomes, with a series of events and a charity auction, the grand finale of the season with a heartfelt reminder of Valencia and the flood of two weeks ago. On the other, Marco Bezzecchi (26 years old tomorrow) who will take to the track for the last time with the colors of the Tavullia Team and will share the garage with Michele Pirro.

Final chapter of a beautiful story, that of Marco and the VR46 Racing Team after 5 seasons together between Moto2 and MotoGP. Two third places in the general standings (P3 in 2021 in Moto2 and P3 in 2023 in MotoGP), the title of Rookie of the Year in MotoGP in 2022 and the first historic success in the premier class at the Argentina GP in 2023. 29 podiums in total (14 in Moto2, 9 in MotoGP and 6 in the Sprint), of which 6 victories (3 in Moto2 and 3 in MotoGP), for a growth path full of emotions and great satisfaction. Currently 12th (144 points) in the general standings, Marco returns to work after a difficult week in Malaysia. The goal is to close the gap to the very first riders as much as possible before embarking on a new professional adventure.

Still recovering from surgery on his left shoulder of the last Saturday and, as expected, forced to miss the last two races on the calendar, Fabio Di Giannantonio. He will leave his Desmosedici GP to Michele Pirro who will join the Team for both the GP and the following official testing day on Tuesday. For the Ducati Corse tester it will be the first time on the track in the Top class in 2024.

MARCO BEZZECCHI - 72

It will be a weekend of pure emotion, first of all I want to send a big hug to the city of Valencia and to all the people affected by the flood. As for my last GP with the Team: they were five crucial seasons for my racing career and for me as a person. A beautiful chapter closes, I am ready to embark on a new sporting adventure, but many memories, many affections and friendships remain. I will give my best to close in the best way with a great race among the protagonists.

MICHELE PIRRO - 51

First of all, thanks to the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team and Ducati for this great opportunity to close the season on a MotoGP. It is always nice to race in this category and then also with Valentino's colors, whom I thank together with Uccio and Pablo. I send a big hug to Fabio, he was doing really well but not being 100% physically fit on this engine size is complicated and next year he really has a great opportunity with the GP25. It will be interesting for me to race on the GP23, I will be able to see where we have made some steps forward. I have no expectations for the race, but I am happy to race, also for all the people affected by the floods in Valencia, and I hope to honor the Team and the working group. See you on the track!
