Fabio Di Giannantonio and Franco Morbidelli are back on track this weekend for the Hungarian GP: at the Balaton Park Circuit, the ai mis to confirm the good feeling after the home race weekend.

The Mugello weekend in front of the home fans in in the history books, and the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team is ready to be back on track for the Hungarian GP, third back-to-back round of the European season. Fabio Di Giannantonio arrives to the eighth round of the 2026 MotoGP campaign in third place in the World Standing and also Franco Morbidelli comes to Balaton Park with confidence: on the Hungarian track – where the team secured a double Sprint podium last year – the goal is to confirm the steps forward of the last races.

Di Giannantonio – recharged from the energy of the Italian fans – is eager to be back in action at Balaton Park Circuit, which hists MotoGP from 2025. Last year, Fabio was second in the Sprint and this weekend he wants to confirm the great potential he showed during this first part of the season. The rider from Rome arrives to the Hungarian GP in third place in the World Standing with 134 points.

Morbidelli – who is regenerated by the Italian fans’ warmth – faces with optimism the Hungarian weekend, where he was third in the Sprint in 2025. The job he’s doing both in the garage and on track to be back on top positions is starting to pay results. Franco’s goal is to confirm his growing potential also in Balaton Park, a very different track from Mugello. The Italian Brazilian rider arrives to Hungary in fourteenth place in the World Standing with 38 points.

The Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team will hit the track on Friday for free practice, while qualifying will take place on Saturday (10:50 local time). The Sprint race will start at 15:00 (local time) on Saturday, while the Hungarian GP will conclude on Sunday with the race, starting at 14:00 (local time).

“Balaton Park is a very different track – the opposite, maybe – to Mugello. There are hard brakes, it’s very tight and slow. So, it will be crucial to have a well-balanced bike in braking. Last year I had a lot of fun in Hungary, and we showed a very high level throughout the weekend. So, with the energy we bring back from Mugello and with the data we collected in Hungary in 2025, we aim to start from a good basis, doing a good job and be back on the podium.”

“We arrive to Hungary with the same determination we showed at Mugello. We will try to have a solid Friday; at the same level we had in Italy last weekend. From there, we will try to continue on that direction, always keeping our level high. I am happy to race at Balaton Park Circuit! I like the track a lot, because is very peculiar: it’s tight, slow and there are many chicanes. In Balaton, last year I was very strong, and I wish to confirm this shape this year as I showed in 2025.”
