Fabio Di Giannantonio and Franco Morbidelli are back on track this weekend for the Czech GP, ninth round of the 2026 MotoGP season.
It’s time to be back on track: after a week off, the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team returns to action this weekend at the Automotodrom Brno for the GP of Czechia. Fabio Di Giannantonio and Franco Morbidelli arrive to the ninth round of the 2026 MotoGP season with confidence, and their goal is to keep working in the positive direction of these last races.
Di Giannantonio is ready to be back on his Ducati Desmosedici GP after undergoing a surgical dressing of the dermis on the fifth finger of his left hand with the aim of treating the injury sustained in the crash that occurred during the race in Barcelona. Fabio will take part as normal in the GP of Czechia, where he won in 2018 (in Moto3) and secured two more podiums (in 2016 and in 2019 in Moto3). This year, he arrives in third position in the World Standing with 138 points.
Morbidelli was forced to miss the Brno round last year due to an injury, and he’s back on the Czech track this weekend after having last raced here in 2020, where he was second. The Italian Brazilian rider arrives to Brno in fourteenth place in the World Standing with 40 points. The goal is to continue working to be back on the top positions.
The Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team will hit the track on Friday for free practice, while qualifying will take place on Saturday (10:50 local time). The Sprint race will start at 15:00 (local time) on Saturday, while the GP of Czechia will conclude on Sunday with the race, starting at 14:00 (local time).

“I love Brno track, I think it’s one of the most amazing circuits of the calendar. For sure, it’s a very different track from the last ones we raced at. I am eager to be back on track and to show our potential. So, the goal in Czechia is to fight again for the victory. We had some rest days, where I decided to undergo a surgical dressing of the finger that I got injured in Barcelona’s crash. For sure, we are not at our 100% with the finger, but I am ready for Brno, where we arrive in Top3 in the World Standing and with a lot of confidence. We’re working very well and we must keep on this direction. We are ready to face this weekend too.”
FRANCO MORBIDELLI
“I am happy to race at Brno, where last year I couldn’t take part to the weekend to recover from an injury. The track is very different from Balaton and Mugello, where we raced the last two races. During this week off, we’ve been working a lot with the team and the engineers to try to find some solution to understand why we struggle to have enough grip to be fast. I am very confident of all the work we are doing. We have many data and information to analyse to arrive to Brno with some solutions.”
