MotoGP Group and all the 11 MotoGP Teams have signed the agreement governing their participation in the FIM MotoGP World Championship from 2027 to 2031.

2027 marks a crucial turning point for the FIM MotoGP World Championship: in addition to the introduction of new technical regulations, it will also see the implementation of a new regulatory and commercial agreement for the next five years (2027-2031) involving the 11 MotoGP teams, including the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team. Together, MotoGP, the Teams, the Manufacturers, and the FIM share a common vision aimed at strengthening the championship, enhancing the fan experience, and supporting its continued global development.

The participation of all the 11 MotoGP Teams confirms the solid base of the agreement as a starting point for achieving shared objectives: strengthening the championship, supporting its global growth, and further enhancing the fan experience, making fans increasingly engaged and central to the sport. The agreements recognises the importance of maintaining 11 equal Teams, each with its own distinct identity, story and brand. The aim is to create a more dynamic and exciting championship for supporters to follow, and they will be able to create a deeper connection with the championship thanks to the uniqueness of every single Team.

Moreover, the new framework reinforces the role of the Teams as key stakeholders in MotoGP’s future, providing greater certainty and confidence to increase investment in this sport, from performance to commercial opportunities. The agreements also introduce enhanced promotional and marketing commitments across the paddock, helping to raise the profile of the Teams, riders and championship worldwide.
