The riders of the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team are following the group of the strongest just a few tenths away from the direct access to Q2 with Di Giannantonio P13 and Bezzecchi P14
Alcañiz (Spain), August 30th 2024 - A Friday to get confidence with the new tarmac of the Motorland for the riders of the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team attending the Aragón GP this weekend. Both end the day just under a tenth from the direct access to tomorrow's Q2: Fabio Di Giannantonio is in P13 while Marco Bezzecchi is in P14.
Having received yesterday the fit to compete and returning at the garage after the dislocation of his left shoulder suffered in Austria, Fabio is not far from the fastest group. Despite the pain, he set a good 1.46.946 in the final session and he is close to reaching the TOP10.
In his slipstream, just 83 thousandths of a gap, Marco is capable of a good pace in FP1 but was more in difficulty in the afternoon practice. He sings a best lap time of 1.47.029 and he will also be forced into Q1 (tomorrow, 10.50 am local time).

Marco Bezzecchi - 72
A 50-50 day: I'm pretty good on pace, with the used soft, but I'm not happy with the feeling and the lap time with the new tire. The usual problems came back, which perhaps on this track, precisely because of its characteristics, are even more amplified. In any case I'm positive, we can make a good step tomorrow. I'm very happy with the new asphalt, at the beginning it was dirty, it's normal, but there's a lot of grip and the track gained points.
Fabio Di Giannantonio - 49
We have to be objective, it wasn't 100% sure that I would be able to get on the track today. I can ride, I’m struggling, especially when I have to pick up the pace and push hard. When changing direction I feel pain and I'm not fluid. Despite everything, however, I'm strong, the pace isn't bad, but we were missing something on the flying lap. We're fighting, we're not giving up and we're trying to recover all our energy for tomorrow. I pushed myself a lot and I rode perhaps with a slightly unnatural position. Let's go back to the data, rest and get back on the track tomorrow even more motivated.
