The Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team opens the Grand Prix of the Valencian Community with Franco Morbidelli in third place and a double direct Q2 thanks to Fabio Di Giannantonio’s seventh position.
The final race weekend of the 2025 MotoGP season started strong for the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team, which secured direct Q2 access with both riders. Franco Morbidelli finished third in Practice and Fabio Di Giannantonio took seventh.
It was a good start to the day for Morbidelli, who closed FP1 in Top5, showing solid pace right from the beginning. Franco confirmed his great feeling with the Ducati in Practice as well, where he shone with a final third place (1:29.425). With an excellent time attack and a promising pace, the #21 earned direct access to Q2.
A positive Friday also for Di Giannantonio, who finished the morning session in Top10. Fabio improved his time attack in Practice, where he showed a strong pace and ended the day in seventh place (1:29.593). The #49 also secured direct Q2 access.
The Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team is back on track on Saturday for qualifying, which will start at 10:50 am (local time). The Sprint will follow at 3:00 pm (local time). The Grand Prix of the Valencian Community will end with Sunday’s race, scheduled to start at 2:00 pm (local time).
FABIO DI GIANNANTONIO
“I’m happy because the main goal on Friday is to get into Q2, and we achieved it. I was fast throughout the whole day, also simulating race pace. We did a good job in the time attack too. I’m not fully satisfied with my lap because I didn’t manage to put together a perfect one, but we were able to get into Q2 quite comfortably. Anyway, we’ve started the weekend well. For tomorrow, we need to focus on qualifying, which has been a bit of our kryptonite this year. It’ll be important to start at the front, getting onto the first row would be great and we could have some fun.”
FRANCO MORBIDELLI
“I’m happy with how the day went, we worked well right from the start. The team adapted very well to the conditions, which were quite tricky. We’re very satisfied with what we did today, especially coming from Portimao, where the feeling wasn’t great. We had a good performance and finished the day in the Top 3. We’re close to the top, and we want to keep going this way and continue improving. We secured direct Q2 access, and if we keep working in the direction we followed today, we have a good chance of fighting at the front.”
