Days of improvements for Di Giannantonio, who got the seventh position in qualifying (1:44723). Fabio started from the third row and he bounced back arriving to che chequered flag in fifth place. Today’s result is the best in his carreer at Mugello so far and it allows him to keep the Top 5 in the World Standings with 104 points.

Challenging Saturday for Morbidelli, who started from the second row after he was sixth in qualifying (1:44.568). Franco made a consistent Sprint finishing in seventh place and he still sits in fourth in the World Standings with 118 points.

The Italian GP will end tomorrow with the main race, which will start at 2 p.m. (local time CET). On Sunday, the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team will hit the track with the special “Cremonini Live 25” livery, that was unveiled on Thursday.

FABIO DI GIANNANTONIO
“It was a great race for us, my best result in Mugello until now. I’m happy because we were in third row and I had a lot of fun battling around with many riders. I also did many good overtakes, as I did in Arrabbiata 1. I just made a little mistake at the first lap, I braked a little too early in Turn 1 and I lost some positions. Without that mistake I could have fought for the podium. But we have a really good base to work on for tomorrow, so we aim for something big in the main race. I want to fight for the podium, we are working for it, the race will be very special for the colors that we have on Sunday. For sure the goal is to do a great job tomorrow.”

FRANCO MORBIDELLI
“It was a complicated Saturday because in qualifying I got a rider in the middle of the track and I couldn’t make two attempts in my time attack. The starting position was ok, but I didn’t have a great start. The usual struggle of Saturday is the lack of grip in the rear that didn’t allow me to push as I wanted. Usually, on Sunday our feeling is much better and for sure we will work to make it even better tomorrow. Anyway, we did a step compared to yesterday, the final position of the Sprint is not ideal, but we did an improvement in terms of setting and feeling. I can’t wait for tomorrow, we will go on track with the special livery and it will be exciting.”
