Round 9 at Sachsenring for the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team

The last GP before the summer break for the Tavullia Team duo: Di Giannantonio to get closer to the podium and Bezzecchi on the track to close the gap

Chemnitz (Germany), July 2nd 2024 – The last act before the summer break for the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team at the Sachsenring, the scene of the ninth race of the season. Halfway point for Fabio Di Giannantonio, with his best result of the season in Netherlands, and for Marco Bezzecchi.

Positive momentum for Fabio after two solid placings at Assen and his eighth consecutive Top 10 (two Top5) in the Sunday GP. Eighth overall with 92 points, he can't wait to get back on the Ducati to get closer and closer to the podium.

Working to turn the page instead, after a bitter-tasting TT, Marco is currently 11th with 45 points. The goal is to find good sensations in riding and reduce the gap before the summer break.

I'm happy to be able to get back on track, it wasn't an easy weekend at Assen. The Sachsenring track is definitely one of the most particular on the calendar, short, with probably tight gaps and a significant ups and downs. Let's get back at work, try to reset and leave the last week behind us to close this first part of the season with a good race and enjoy a few days of relax.

Fabio Di Giannantonio - 49

We're coming from a great weekend at Assen and we're stopping on what is perhaps the shortest track on the entire calendar. It will be very important to have a precise bike, an aspect that we are taking great care of with the Team. We're doing a great job, I'm happy, and we're coming from a great momentum. We have two races in two weeks, let's not lose our rhythm and try to do another super race to confirm our potential.
