The rider of the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team crosses the finishing line in P7. 13th, after a good final, Marco Bezzecchi
Scarperia (Italy), June 2nd 2024 - Italian hug for the riders of the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team who crossed the finishing line of the Italian GP at Mugello on the Italian Republic Day, both in the points. Fabio di Giannantonio is seventh while Marco Bezzecchi 13th.
Starting from the 14th place on the grid and capable, as yesterday, of an excellent sprint, Fabio immediately manages to enter the Top10. Competitive in the final, he climbs up the rankings to the seventh place thus achieving the seventh consecutive result in the Top10 (P9, 74 points in the general standings).
Three points also for Marco (P11 with 45 points) after a complicated start and the start from the 16th box on the grid. In P18 after the first lap, he was able to keep a good pace in the final laps. Next appointment for both, it will be tomorrow for a MotoGP testing session here at Mugello track.

Marco Bezzecchi - 72
Since this morning I started having a clutch problem, it's not the first time that this happened, but it's even more difficult to get off to a good start. A race very similar to yesterday, we collected data, but we have struggled. Tomorrow we'll make the most of the test: I have just one problem to solve, understeer in the middle of the corner. Driving like this, I immediately finish the front tire and on tracks like this and Barcelona, where the tire is already under pressure, I suffer a lot.
Fabio Di Giannantonio - 49
I am very happy, but also tired, I pushed a lot and it is not easy to overtake here. I tried, I am happy, it was a good comeback. We always show that we are strong and fast, the feelings are positive. On the one hand, it is not an easy year, but we are showing our real potential and this is what makes me most proud. I started well today, but in the end I make a step. I am smooth in riding, I brake well and I have a good speed in entering corners. I can manage the tires, maybe also the training I do at home, but I can conserve extra energy in the last stages of the GP. Let's enjoy this beautiful race and get back at work tomorrow.
Pablo Nieto - Team Manager
After a difficult qualifying and starting from the middle of the grid, it is not sure being able to have a good race and a comeback. I'm very happy with Fabio's weekend, he had the potential to fight for the Top5 and did very well both yesterday in the Sprint and today in the GP. Marco had struggled more, it was a difficult weekend and his grid position complicated things. Tomorrow, as Fabio, he has a day of testing in which he will be able to do some tests and try to close the gap to the leaders.
