The historic Le Mans welcomes the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team

Marco Bezzecchi, back on the podium in Jerez, and Fabio Di Giannantonio, the fastest in the last MotoGP test, arrive in France in the slipstream of the strongest guys

Le Mans (France), May 7th 2024 – The historic Le Mans welcomes the MotoGP circus and the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team. A track with sweet memories for the Tavullia Team with Marco Bezzecchi victorious last year on the Ducati Desmosedici GP (one thousandth GP in the history of the Championship). Positive feelings on the eve of the fifth race of the season also for Fabio Di Giannantonio, the fastest in the last official test in Jerez.

Back on the podium in Spain after a difficult start of the season and a great lover of the French track (several times on the podium in Moto2), Marco can't wait to get back on the track. Another solid performance and the confirmation of a growing trend are the real targets for this GP.

Also close to the leading group is Fabio, protagonist of his best start ever in MotoGP with four consecutive Top10s in Sunday's race. Removing the "curse" from the Sprint (no points in 2024) and continuing in the slipstream of these excellent results is the goal.

I can't wait to get back to the track, I'm really excited after the great race in Jerez, it was needed for the whole Team! Le Mans is notoriously a track where I have always been very strong, in all categories. I like the track, last year I won, one of the best races of my career. Let's continue to work, we have done good things over the last weekends and let's have fun.

Fabio Di Giannantonio - 49

Le Mans is a fantastic track, I like it a lot. In Moto3 I almost won a race (in 2018, he crossed the finishing line first, but was penalized for a previous cut at the first chicane, thus finishing in fourth place), but in general I've always been quite strong here. Last year I had already struggled less than other weekends and this year, considering all the work we are doing with the Team and the sensations from the latest tests, we can be there with in the strongest guys.
